A native New Mexican, I relocated to Smithville in 2004.As a child, I lived for a time on an Indian Pueblo called Paguate. This is where I learned my love for the earth. The mountains and desert are unbelievably beautiful and sacred. This is also where I learned my love for the arts.My paintings and collages focus on the spiritual, sometimes on Native American beliefs and on interpretations of imagery.I am interested in places that have a balanced harmony between humans and nature and that reflect how we connect to our surroundings.Texas certainly has that quality.I am loving the many different Texas landscapes from the desert to the ocean.
