Bastrop Fine Arts Guild

A native New Mexican, I relocated to Smithville in 2004.  As a child, I lived for a time on an Indian Pueblo called Paguate.  This is where I learned my love for the earth.  The mountains and desert are unbelievably beautiful and sacred.  This is also where I learned my love for the arts.  My paintings and collages focus on the spiritual, sometimes on Native American beliefs and on interpretations of imagery.  I am interested in places that have a balanced harmony between humans and nature and that reflect how we connect to our surroundings.  Texas certainly has that quality.  I am loving the many different Texas landscapes from the desert to the ocean.
