I create high-fired porcelain bisque and stoneware angels as well as fun and functional (Jo put the FUN in functional!) pottery.  My portrait “Mugglies” are popular gift items.  My portfolio extends to fine art sculpture and portrait busts and reliefs.

I began my love affair with clay as a young child in my backyard making mudpies!  It wasn’t until I was in my teens that I I had an opportunity to work with “real” clay that I was able to fire
,  That was well over 40 years ago and I have had clay under my fingernails ever since.  My work has evolved from slip-cast ceramics to character sculpture to pottery and now, to wherever my imagination takes me.  My favorite medium is porcelain.  It is so very difficult to work with but the fineness and translucency in a successfully executed piece makes mastering its temperament worthwhile.
