Gallery Guidelines: Artwork of members of all skill levels is accepted. Artwork shown by the gallery must be the artist’s original work, not a copy of a photo, painting or other work by someone else. Any copy is plagiarism and is copyright infringement. The Gallery Committee and Board do not know every piece of art that exists, but identifiable work will be removed. You are responsible to the Guild and to our alternate exhibitors.

Gallery Art Rotation:
It has always been the policy of the Gallery to rotate all the displayed artwork and jewelry, including bins and card spinner. This gives the repeat Gallery visitor a new experience each time and a reason to return again. We need to be more consistent in implementing it and managing it with more attention.

Basically we will ask that each artist rotate artwork after three months on display.

The Gallery Committee, will mark each hanging card with the month and date the art arrived. After three months, the artist will be contacted by telephone, email or mail regarding either changing or removing the art.

If art is still on display one month after the phone call, email or mailing, it will be removed and held in a storage bin. At that time, the artist will be notified by phone, mail or email. After sixty days from the first phone call, mailing or email, the Gallery Committee will assume the art is unwanted and it will become property of the Guild and will be sold.  Of course, if anyone has a specific problem rotating their art, they should just contact the Hanging Committee and we will work out a solution.
